Protecting Civic Space – the Role of Human Rights Defenders and Freedom of Peaceful Assembly: Supplementary Human Dimension Meeting II
The Finnish OSCE Chairpersonship, with the support of the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR), is hosting a Supplementary Human Dimension Meeting (SHDM), focusing on the role of human rights defenders and freedom of peaceful assembly in protecting civic space. The meeting will be held in person on 5-6 May in Vienna. It provides a platform for dialogue between OSCE participating States, international institutions, and civil society to discuss the implementation of OSCE human dimension commitments in this field.
